Education, before anything else

What you should know before you start.

01

What these peptides target

BPC-157 and TB-500 are studied for their effect on soft tissue, tendon and gut lining repair. GHK-Cu is a copper peptide involved in collagen synthesis and skin remodelling. They act on the repair process itself rather than masking the pain that comes with it.

02

Honest about the evidence

Most of the published work on these peptides is preclinical, meaning animal and laboratory studies rather than large human trials. The mechanistic case is genuinely interesting and patient reports are often positive, but we are not going to call that proven. Your provider will be straight with you about where the data stands.

03

Repair is not a substitute for diagnosis

Pain that persists, worsens or follows a specific injury needs to be looked at properly. A peptide protocol is not a replacement for imaging or a physiotherapist. If your intake suggests something structural, your provider will tell you to get it assessed first.

04

Sleep does most of the work

Tissue repair happens overnight, driven by your own recovery physiology. Protocols support that process; they do not replace it. If sleep is consistently short or broken, address that alongside anything prescribed here.

Common questions

Recovery & Repair FAQ

No. These are compounded preparations, not FDA-approved medications, and much of the supporting research is preclinical. Your provider will explain what is known and what is not before prescribing.

BPC-157 and TB-500 are prohibited under WADA rules. If you compete under anti-doping regulations, tell your provider at intake. A prescription does not exempt you.

Recovery protocols are usually run for a defined period rather than taken indefinitely. Your provider will set the length based on what is being treated and will review before any extension.

Yes, and in most cases you should. These protocols are intended to support rehabilitation, not replace it. Tell your provider what else you have in place.
